  • There are women that want to birth their babies without the help of a professional and I support that! Some of those women would like to have the opportunity to have a midwife come check on them and their babies afterwards. One common reason is to check their yoni for any tears or abrasions, and the option to repair them with sutures. Some may want the baby looked over, or help with breastfeeding, birth certificate preparation, etc. You may want all of the above! We meet prenatally to discuss your wishes so we can communicate and solidify your plans, as well as create documentation needed for birth certificate filing.

  • You may want to schedule a single appointment with a midwife for multiple reasons. Some may be, if you are in-between providers, maybe because you are moving. If you are unsatisfied with your OB/GYN appointments and need more of your questions answered, and to feel heard. Whatever it is, you can see a midwife. These appointments are usually 1-2 hours.

  • If you are struggling with lactation and/or breastfeeding, you can schedule an appointment with me for help. Most of the time, it is simple changes that can make a big difference. Other times there are things to consider and explore, like tongue ties and lip ties. Whatever your unique situation is, you are not alone!
